Our Mission

MW4.GG is the most complete community database for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. We provide fast, accurate, and practical coverage — from confirmed weapon stats and patch notes to launch news and gameplay guides — to help players get the information they need, when they need it.

We are an independent resource, not affiliated with or endorsed by Activision or Activision Blizzard.

Editorial Standards

  • All published articles are reviewed by a human editor before going live.
  • We prioritise accuracy, clarity, and direct relevance to players.
  • Confirmed information is clearly distinguished from speculation, leaks, or rumour — articles covering unverified content are labelled as such.
  • We link to primary sources — developer posts, official Activision channels, and verified patch notes — wherever available.
  • We do not publish unverified claims as fact.
  • Database entries (weapons, attachments, operators, perks, maps) are sourced directly from official trailers, in-game footage, or Activision-confirmed materials and clearly dated.

Sourcing

Every article cites its sources. When covering leaks or community-sourced data, we clearly identify the origin and caveat any unverified information. We do not present third-party speculation as confirmed fact.

Where official statements conflict with community data, we defer to official sources and update database entries accordingly.

Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters. If a factual error is identified in a published article, we update the article and append a visible correction note stating what changed and when. We do not silently rewrite or delete content to conceal mistakes.

Readers can report errors via our contact page. We review all correction requests promptly.

Authorship

Articles are published under named authors. Author names appear on all articles along with publication dates. We do not publish anonymous opinion or unsigned editorial content.

Community Standards

MW4.GG hosts a community database for weapons, operators, and other in-game content. Community contributions are moderated for abuse. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our terms of service, including manipulation, spam, or hate speech.

Independence

MW4.GG is an independent informational resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by Activision or Activision Blizzard. Coverage decisions are made solely on editorial merit and player value. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage.
